ABOUT US
The Symphonic Youth Pops Orchestra rehearse for 2 hours every Saturday in Southampton and brings together youth musicians working towards and beyond Grade 5. We are always looking for new string, wind and brass players to join us.
We have a library of over 300 movie and theatre scores as well as specially orchestrated arrangements of pop and modern songs of the present day and we rehearse and perform to the very best of our ability.
The orchestra are modelled on the iconic Boston Pops Orchestra and more local to us the Pops Incorporated UK Orchestra (who recently donated lots of out-of-print repertoire to our library.
