Terms & Conditions

To become a member of ‘Hear Our Voice’ you must sign up and make your first payment here. This will cover your membership until the end of this calendar month. Monthly payments of £13 will then be requested monthly on the 1st (except for August) via Direct Debit or BACS transfer. All the information here will be provided in the document available for download after making your first payment. Your membership will continue until you decide to leave the group. Membership is non-refundable. If a rehearsal is unable to take place because we must cancel for unforeseen circumstances – a catch up session will be offered. If you decide to leave ‘Hear Our Voice,’ you will need to give 7 days written notice before the next payment is due to avoid being charged a further month.  

Covid-19: If rehearsals cannot take place in person due to Covid-19 or other reasons, and to keep the standards of our practise to a high, rehearsals will resume via ZOOM temporarily and the membership fee still applies. You must not attend rehearsals in person if suffering from any of the key symptoms of Covid-19 - including a high temperature of over 37.8 degrees, a new and persistent cough and if you have lost your sense of taste and smell. You must also not attend if you or someone in your household has been instructed to isolate by NHS Test & Trace.

Donation: Your membership donation supports costs such as venue hire, recording, safeguarding and general running costs. It also provides you with access to our members area online and other exciting opportunities. The cost of staffing is subsidised fully by Showcase Music School allowing us to keep costs to a minimum for families. You will find our membership is very competitive.

Hear Our Voice is a demanding educational experience and requires full commitment and attendance at rehearsals and performances. We are a family and a team, and everyone must be in it for each other. We will be learning several songs to a high quality. You commit to individual practise meaning learning your parts as much as you can before rehearsals to enable our sessions to be as effective and exciting as possible.

Weekly Rehearsals: Rehearsals will primarily be on Monday evenings from 6-8pm during term time. There are additional Saturday sessions at least once every half term to enable our recording. During Covid-19 it might be possible that the group is split between Monday and Friday evenings to ensure everyone receives their rehearsal in a safe way.

Touring & social opportunities are optional and will require an additional fee.
